inHere’s another one from a recent shoot with Marion.
One thing I did notice is the synchronization with the Linkstar LF-250 being 99% perfect; there is a small darkening at the bottom of the image, which is due to me using Yongnuo high-speed sync radio triggers, which almost work with the Linkstar, but not for the full 100%. I should test it with the Linkstar LF-400 to see if that works any better.
But if doesn’t really make the image any less. 😉

inThere is something about images where the model does not look into the camera. I tend to like it. This one was taken using a wind machine. This is Ella, and her look straight at the camera is as forceful as is her looking away, like here. I still like the variation, with the subtle blue gel highlighting the back of her head.

This shot of Eleonora was a little unconvential, since I took it from a lower angle, which often isn’t that flattering. But in this case it worked really well. The light was quite high up, and also since she’s looking down slightly, the highlights in Eleonora’s eyes were almost invisible, so I did add a soft highlight in both eyes to get back a bit of sparkle (sorry if that makes you think the image becomes less; I always do a blend of making interesting images and adhering to reality, but sometimes making the image nicer is higher on the list).

I found that in the summer time, shooting in my studio in the attic is less than ideal. It just gets a bit too warm mostly, even with the Dutch weather, which isn’t always compliant with the connotation of the word ‘summer’. 😉
Still, we had set a date some time ago, and the weather wasn’t that hot around that day, so Renilde and I went ahead anyway. Hope you like it.
