This is Deirdre, lying on what appears to be a wooden floor perhaps, but in reality this was one of Savage’s Floor Drops, named ‘Worn Planks Floor’. This carpet-like printed floor looks a little fake in real life, but in pictures it’s quite good. The only downside might be that you’d miss a bit of directional specular lighting at the edges, but if you have no idea what I’m talking about, then good! 😉
This was also the first time that I took out a ladder and climbed up high to get that high vantage point. It does help, although it looks a bit unsafe perhaps from the model’s side. The higher point also helped to prevent me using a lower focal length, since higher focal lengths like 85 or more are more pleasing to the eye.
Things went ok, no limbs were broken and this image is the result.
